Vaughan sustained the injury in Monday’s 2-1 win over Sunderland at Carrow Road.
The injury-hit 23-year-old was forced to come off the field with the problem just 10 minutes after coming on as a substitute.
Scans have confirmed that Vaughan faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
