The former Sheffield United striker will stay on loan at Notts County until the end of the season.
County boss Keith Curle told the club’s official website: “I’ve had a conversation with him and there’s a hunger and a desire there.
“He wants to play football, which is pleasing, and he wants to show what he can do on a football pitch.
“I know before he said he had a bit of an attitude, that’s gone, he’s a changed character and wants to enjoy his football – this is a great place to do that.”
