The 22-year-old has been linked with several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United.
“I like to focus myself on my job and when I do well, I do not need to think about the rest,” he told Spox.com.
“It’s true that I always wanted to play in the Premiership. But that is currently not on the cards, because I like being at Hoffenheim.
“Some day I will have to leave the club, but why should this concern me at this point in time. I am delighted being here.
“As much as I like visiting John Obi Mikel, who I have known since I was 17, we are like brothers.
“Our dream was to play in Europe and you have got to grab that chance then. It was tough at times. We came to Norway from Nigeria, that’s quite a difference.
“But we made the best out of it.”
