The former West Brom man has signed a three-year contract with the Greek side.
“It’s a huge challenge for me to play for Olympiakos. They have won 12 Greek championships in the last 13 years,” he told the club’s official website.
“They want to make a step forward in the Champions League and I will try to help my new team to make it.
“I had offers from Italian and English clubs but I preferred to sign for Olympiakos as they showed me how much they wanted me in their squad.”
