The midfielder has signed a contract that will keep him at Osasuna until the summer of 2013.
Cejudo is currently out with an injury, that was discovered during the medical, that will keep him out of action for up to a month.
“I wish to welcome Alvaro Cejudo to the side, as he joins us from Union Deportiva Las Palmas,” Osasuna president Patxi Izco said in a statement on the club’s official website.
“I wish him a speedy recovery from his injury and hope he can become a big-name player in Pamplona.”
“We knew that Alvaro had a small injury, but what we did not know is how long the player would not be at the disposal of the coach for,” Sporting director Patxi Cipriain said. “It is a torn right quadricep muscle.
“It has been healing correctly, but there is still a period of recovery to go. I believe that in 3-4 weeks, he will be available.”
