“The responsibility and the decision regarding Colantuono was all mine,” Zamparini told Il Giornale.
“My sporting director and chief executive only knew about it this morning (Thursday) and they were not too pleased.
“However, I make the decisions here. I only decided about it last night after spending to two days thinking about it.”
“After Udine we had a meeting and it just didn’t convince me,” added Zampa.
“I felt I couldn’t trust the coach and technical staff and certain people just added to much pressure and this didn’t make the squad stable.”
