Panucci is currently a pundit on Italian television.
“It is true,” Panucci is reported as saying in Gazzetta dello Sport,
“I will be in the Palermo technical area. The agreement is only lacking a signature.”
Current Palermo boss Bertolo Mutti has refused to comment on the reports.
“I do not worry about these things,” said the 57-year-old.
