Parker’s contract with the Hammers is set to expire it he summer of 2013.
“I want to stay here, but that is out of my hands,” he told The People.
“I have had a great season and the fans really appreciate me, but at the same time I want to see the club going in the right way.
“I certainly don’t want to be involved in another season like this. I think stability is the key factor and the club needs massive investment.
“Hopefully the new owners will do what they have to do, strengthen the squad and we can move forward.
“It is encouraging that they want to bring in so many new players and hopefully they can do that.”
