He said: “We were all worried what was going to happen to Ramos. No one could understand why our team had got only two points in eight games under him this season.
“Naturally, there were rumours that he was going to lose his job. So when it was announced that we had a new boss it wasn’t totally unexpected.
“Still, I want to dedicate my first Premier League goal to Ramos. It was nice working with him.
“Juande welcomed me in the team with great warmth and was genuinely concerned about me when I got injured.
“It was very good that I managed to score an early goal. It boosted our confidence and relieved a lot of tension. Now I look at our future with optimism.”
