Pavlyuchenko scored a goal in the FA Cup clash with Leeds United at the weekend.
Lokomotiv Moscow insists the 28-year-old is keen to join them, but Spurs manager Harry Redknapp insists the Russian striker is still part of his plans for the future.
“I’ve already heard lots of times from Redknapp that I’m going to play, but I still remain sitting on the bench,” Pavlyuchenko told Sport Express newspaper.
“I don’t think that goal will change anything. In any case, I hope it doesn’t stop me leaving Tottenham.”
