Fergie claimed Pedersen dived, despite the Norwegina having been subject to contact from Rafael.
“You don’t want to go down at Old Trafford, you want to try and score a goal,” said Pedersen.
“Rafael got his arms round my shoulder – that’s the key thing. I had a great opportunity to score.”
“Rafael’s arms go up immediately after he’s tugged him and I think that body language says an awful lot,” said Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce.
“I think that told you exactly what he’d done.”
