Pellegrini is one of the most highly rated coaches in Europe at the moment, having guided Malaga to the last 16 of the Champions League despite their financial difficulties, which have put his future in doubt.
“Manuel has a contract with Malaga until 2015,” Jesus Martinez told El Mercurio. “I think in April or May it will become clear what the future holds for him.
“Our first intention is to respect the commitment we have made to Malaga, but there are certain conditions to that.
“Less than 15 days ago we had an offer from Roma, but we declined outright.
“We said no because we are midway through the season.
“Chelsea and other clubs have asked, but nothing else official has been said. Manuel would love to manage in the Premier League, but he’d also like to go to Germany, Italy and other championships.
“There is plenty of time to analyse where he will be next season.”
