The Portuguese has been known to want to bring in a striker to boost his options up front, and set his sights on his former player Diego Milito, whom he worked with at Inter Milan.
But Perez told Marca: “Jose Mourinho recently asked me to make an attempt to sign Diego Milito from Inter Milan; he wants the Argentine. However, I said no because I feel that Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema are reliable enough while Gonzalo Higuain is out injured.”
