The Argentina international has been a hit at Sevilla this season and looks set to extend his contract with the club, despite interest from Real.
“I know that Diego is a player that Real Madrid like very much but we haven’t had any official proposal,” said his agent Alvaro Torres.
“In addition, I think that Diego is nearer to extending his contract at Sevilla rather than being transferred to another team.
“Diego is very happy at Sevilla as he is growing up as a player.
“And he will always be very thankful to this club for all what they have done for him. For all this talk he wants to stay at Sevilla.”
