The new deal will keep the 20-year-old at Coventry until the summer of 2016.
Coventry boss Steven Pressley told the club’s official website: “Aaron is another young player that we think very highly of and we’re delighted to extend his stay.
“He’s grabbed his opportunity with both hands and on a number of occasions this season he has shown what he is capable of and also the level of potential he has to become even better.
“He has great energy and enthusiasm and has shown tremendous maturity and attitude for somebody of his age. Despite only making his debut this season he has displayed his ability and desire to come on and make an impact on games in both his tackling and his ambition to get high up the pitch – something which led to his first goal.
“I’m really happy for the kid, he’s the kind of young player that we want coming through our system and he fully deserves his new deal.”
