Pires told the Mirror: “Thierry Henry would be very happy at Barca.
“I should not be saying this, as Arsenal, their manager and their fans are all very good. But it would be best for him to make the change. Arsenal are at the end of a cycle.
“They have lost good players in Patrick Vieira, Edu, Ashley Cole, Dennis Bergkamp and myself.
“They have signed some good new players, but they are still very young.
“Cesc Fabregas is a young lad, but he already knows how to play.
“The quality of his passing is right out of the Barca school of doing things.
“Cesc has made a name for himself, similar to Everton’s Mikel Arteta and Xavi at Barcelona. He is going to be an absolute star.
“He has a very good relationship with Arsene Wenger, who looks after his young players very well.”
