Pizarro is confident that this season will be better than the last.
“I am happy here and so is my family,” he explained. “Renewing my contract is not a problem – both parties are willing to do so and in the coming weeks we will sort it out.
“Next season it will be important for us to do well but we need to let the results speak for us. We cannot say that our squad can compete for the Scudetto, because we saw what happened last term.
“We need to win straight away. The first 10 weeks will determine our season. The fans must stay with us. I know they wanted the board to act but this is football. We are sad about that…” he concluded.
