Crystal Palace had been the team in question however Reid is hoping to keep onto the 24 year old on the eve of the new Championship season.
“I haven’t heard anything from QPR but there has been interest from Palace, which we turned down,” Reid told Plymouth’s official website.
“He’s a good player but Manchester Uniteddidn’t want to sell [Cristiano] Ronaldo. There are certain things you have to do.
“In an ideal world, I wouldn’t have sold [Ashley] Barnes but we had to move things around. Everyone’s got a price but Bhasera has impressed me with his attitude.
“The pushed-on position suits him. He’s got energy and a lovely left-foot to knock crosses in. He is our player and I’m delighted he’s our player. I don’t get worried about things like this. I see it as a compliment.”
