Plymouth confirms Wright-Phillips bids

But Ridsdale admits that only one club matches their valuation of the 25-year-old striker.

Wright-Phillips has recently been linked with Reading, Blackpool and Rangers.

“There are three clubs who have made bids since last Tuesday,” Ridsdale told The Herald. “One of them meets the value we have set for Bradley.

“That bid does require a player to leave the club concerned first if they are to go ahead with it.

“Two of the three bids are new to the table since last Tuesday.

“Bradley’s market value is still there. Whatever problem he has got, it’s only a short-term one.

“And presumably anybody wanting to sign him is intending to do so for a two or three-year period.

“We aren’t going to roll over and let our players go on the cheap because, frankly, it doesn’t solve our problems.”
