Le Havre has claimed that Pogba’s parent were given money and a house from United in order for their son to move to Old Trafford.
But Pogba’s parent are now considering a libel action against the French club following their claims.
Gael Mahe, Pogba’s representative, said: “No money had changed hands up front, though Paul will get a very good contract when he turns professional.
“All he has got from United so far is a flat in Manchester for him and his mother to live in. We spent a long time ensuring that the document we signed with Manchester United was legally watertight.”
