Carlos Tevez is expected to leave City in the near future and the Premier League side have been linked with a move for Hulk.
“Five clubs have offered £40million and Porto didn’t accept it,” Hulk’s agent, Teodoro Fonseca, told the Sunday Express.
“Only if someone meets the £88million buyout clause – if it happened, it couldn’t be blocked.”
Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal have also been linked with the 25-year-old striker.
