“For me, we now have to work twice as hard for the remainder of the season to try to make it. And we have to have the confidence and belief to think we can do it.
“It will mean such a lot for me, personally, to be playing in Europe again. It will be a tremendous achievement for Pompey, and we want to reward the supporters.
“Now they don’t have to sing about staying up, only about trying to reach Europe.”
