Davis said: “Going there means nothing special to me. Just another game, although a tough one because United are playing well at the moment and a good result would obviously delight us.
“But it would be nice to get something, a real bonus, to help Chelsea win the league even though I believe they will do that in any case.
“I know people have been criticising the way Chelsea play but it is effective and I try to watch them as much as I can – especially in the Champions League.
“My memories of playing at Old Trafford are a bit hazy. It seems a long time since I was there with Fulham when we had Louis Saha and he scored twice but we lost 3-2 in the first game after getting promotion.
“Saha has become a great player with United and it is no surprise because you could always see he had a great amount of talent – as they all do at United.
“But we are going up there to give it a go and make a real game of it.”
