The Sun reports that Antonov flew to Norway last night in a move to convince Solskjaer to move to Portsmouth.
Solskjaer has impressed as Molde boss since leaving his job as United’s reserve-team chief earlier this year.
Portsmouth are currently without a boss since Steve Cotterill left the club for Nottingham Forest last week.
