He said: “Anything is possible. I’ve a year left at Portsmouth and I need to sit down and speak to them at the end of the season but I’m not one to sit around and not be playing.
“The manager’s brought me here to score goals and I’ll try my best to do just that. If I can get this team into the Premiership that will be a great thing for me.”
Cole added: “I can’t see why I can’t have another season in the Premiership.”
