The Portugal Under-21 forward is at the top of Newcastle boss Chris Hughton’s wish list for January, according to The Mirror.
Ukra is currently on loan at Olhanense from Porto.
Ukra said: “It’s always motivating that big clubs are interested but I’ll have to wait on Porto to make a decision over my future.
“I have a contract until June 2011, but any offer would be studied.”
