Fiorentina managed to beat Atalanta 2-0 and Prandelli was impressed by his team’s professional performance.
“We wanted to win this game and I’m delighted with the result,” he declared to SkySport.
“Atalanta came for a particular result but my team was very attentive and concentrated. We stopped the Orobici from working up any real danger and managed to be decisive in key moments of the game.”
“[Stevan] Jovetic had a little problem with his ankle and we hope it isn’t too serious. He always manages to find the spaces and is a fundamental player for this Fiorentina side.
“The important thing is to have ideas on the field. To be able to dribble you have to have the personnel. Both Jovetic and [Manuel] Vargas have these qualities and they are very useful in giving numerical advantage in the final third.”
