Feyenoord midfielder Quinten Timber is being linked with a host of Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United.
After Feyenoord’s stellar Eredivisie victory last season, the club and its star players, including Timber, have found themselves under the watchful gaze of many of Europe’s top-tier teams.
Among those keenly interested are Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur, according to 90min.
Timber, just 22 years of age, has showcased versatility by adeptly taking on various midfield roles. His current season stats are testament to his prowess, having notched up three assists and a goal in merely seven league appearances.
The plot thickens, as Timber isn’t the sole family member who has garnered attention in the football circuit. Jurrien, Quinten’s twin, is already a celebrated defender for Arsenal. The Gunners’ scouts, during their visits to De Kuip, have expressed considerable admiration for Quinten’s performance and potential.
Yet, the interest isn’t limited to English shores. European football stalwarts such as Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Monaco, and Napoli have expressed keen interest in the midfielder, taking note of his consistent performances.
In a candid conversation with Voetbal International in August, Timber shared his aspirations for the future. “Certainly, I envisage a significant transfer in the future. But my journey starts with Feyenoord. This season, I aim to put forth exceptional performances. The future is unpredictable, but a significant move would indeed be an exciting prospect,” he remarked.
