PSG join Man City in race for Arsenal star

The Daily Mail reports that PSG are ready to rival Manchester City in the race for Van Persie.

PSG director Leonardo has reportedly made tentative enquiries as to the availability of Van Persie this summer.

Arsenal are desperate for Robin van Persie to sign a new deal and have no intention of selling their skipper.

Manchester City are preparing a formal £20million offer for the highly-rated striker.

City would be prepared to offer Van Persie a deal worth in excess of £200,000-a-week.

The Dutchman is currently stalling on a new three-year contract with Arsenal worth £130,000-per-week, plus a £5million bonus.
