PSV Eindhoven coach Stevens: Anyone can win the group

The Dutch side have been drawn together with Marseille, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid.

PSV will face Spanish giants Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.

“I believe that Liverpool are the main favourites, but I have seen Atlético in action on several occasions and they have a team that is of equal level with Liverpool in almost every position,” said Stevens.

“Atlético have a very balanced squad with a lot of great players. They have two players suspended (Maxi and Mariano Pernía) but their replacements are equally as good,” he complimented their opening Group D rivals.

“We need a good start on the first day to improve our chances to advance.

“We face very strong competition but anyone can win the group.”
