Kanu has earlier this season stated that he would like to re-join Dutch side Ajax.
He told the Vanguard newspaper: “I want to go to Ajax. Portsmouth should be grateful for what I have been able to do for them and allow me to go.”
The 30-year-old is the club’s top scorer, but has set his sights to leave Fratton Park.
