The Daily Mail reports that QPR are considering making a £8million January bid for the striker.
QPR boss Neil Warnock is hopeful that he can persuade the 29-year-old striker to move to Loftus Road.
Newcastle, Sunderland, Aston Villa and Everton are also reportedly interested in the striker.
