Queiroz has worked as Sir Alex Ferguson’s assistant at Manchester United in recent years.
“In many ways he is like a typical, authentic striker in the penalty area,” Queiroz told the Daily Mail.
“He is a killer. I am convinced he will be a success at Manchester United.
“I think he is United’s new (Ruud) Van Nistelrooy and if he comes into his own, it is feasible that the team can improve on last season.
“I think Alex will play Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlos Tevez, Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov all in the same team.
“And if this system functions as he hopes, it will make Manchester United’s the most dangerous attack in all the world.”
Berbatov joined United from Tottenham on transfer deadline day this summer.
