Radu’s current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2012, but Lazio are keen for the defender to sign a new deal that would be keep him at the club until 2015.
Radu’s agent Victor Becali told lazialita.it: “Stefan really wants to stay at Lazio. The club’s president knows what the player wants, but there are still some minor differences. I expect the contract situation to be solved by this summer.”
“Both Lazio and Stefan have the intention to continue their collaboration. We all have the desire to extend his current contract with four more years.
“He wants to stay put and we won’t even consider a move away from the club unless the president accepts an offer for him. Stefan is happy at Lazio and wants to continue his Roman adventure.”
