The 18-year-old joined Arsenal from Cardiff in a £5million deal in June 2008.
Ramsey featured in Arsenal’s 1-0 defeat at Olympiakos in the Champions League on Wednesday.
He said: “I am trying my hardest in games like this, to show what I can do.
“I also work hard in training as well, so I am just concentrating on what I have to do and then it is up to the manager.
“I am learning every day, so it was the right move for me to join Arsenal – and opportunities like this are good for me and for the young players.”
Ramsey added: “I am not sure whether it was my best performance, I just think it was a good all-round team performance.
“As midfielders that is what we are there to do, to make chances and passes for strikers and wide players.
“It is a good feeling when you do that.
“If they don’t take the chance then the urge is to make another chance for them as quickly as possible.”
