Miller scored two goals in Rangers’ 1-3 away win over rivals Celtic.
Miller has revealed that his side were boosted by a half-time pep talk by manager Walter Smith.
Miller told Sky Sports: “Walter told us to be more confident on the ball and getting it moving quicker as we felt that we had started the better team.
“I think we sat off them a bit and you saw in the second half when we got at them we scored three second-half goals that gave us a bit of breathing space
“The result is the most important thing but to get on the scoresheet as a forward in these particular games is pleasing.”
