McDermott has been strongly linked with the vacant managerial post at Leicester, but the Reading boss is determined to stay at the Madejski Stadium.
“They haven’t rung me,” McDermott told the Reading Post.
“I’ve been here 11 years now and until someone tells me anything different, this is where I am.
“What I find strange, though, is that they got rid of Sven and I thought that his replacement would be done and dusted.”
