Barcelona face Villarreal tonight while Real Madrid face Osasuna on Sunday in the battle for the title.
Pellegrini told Europa Press: “I am certain that Villarreal are a good side and they have been showing that over the past few games. They have beaten Barcelona before, including by three goals. But they will have to play a very good match if they want to win.
“Barcelona have to draw or lose a game and we must win, but it won’t be decisive because the league will not be decided until the end. There are only four games left and the team that is top has more options, but every game will be difficult from now on.
“The decisive thing will be to maintain the performance throughout these four matches.”
