He said: “I do not return home upset because we have picked up a draw, which is a positive result given how the game progressed.
“In the second half, when we were 2-1 ahead, we conceded against the run of play, so it was a bit unlucky.
“However, it was an open game in which both teams had their chances.”
He continued: “After going ahead early, there were plenty of moments when we appeared confused, lacking clarity,” continued the German.
“We looked nervous and that only served to increase the confidence of our rivals. We invited them by making mistakes, and lacked maturity.
“We should have kept the ball and looked calmly for the second goal. We still have a lot to learn about being calm under pressure, and picking the right moments to kill the game off.”
