Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo reports that Real Madrid could land the veteran striker in a cut-price swoop.
The Spanish giants are looking to bring in a new striker in January as Gonzalo Higuain will be forced to undergo surgery.
Real Madrid have recently also been linked with a move for Manchester City star Emmanuel Adebayor.
