New Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has insisted that Hazard will not be sold, but Real Madrid are refusing to admit defeat in their battle to land the Belgium international.
The Express says Real Madrid want to bring in Hazard to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, who left the club for Juventus earlier this summer.
Hazard is stalling on signing a new £300,000 a week deal with Chelsea and previous reports have claimed the forward would be keen on a move to Spain.
Chelsea sold goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid earlier this month.
“Hazard has congratulated me on signing for Real Madrid,” said Belgian goalkeeper.
“He is a great player and I would like to be always at his side, let’s see what happens in the future.
“If he can come [to Real Madrid], it would be fantastic.”
