Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly considering making a move for Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund.
Spanish outlet Defensa Central reports that Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Hojlund’s progress at Old Trafford as they see the United striker as an potential alternative to signing Kylian Mbappe this summer.
Hojlund was also linked with Real Madrid before joining Manchester United from Atalanta last summer.
Pundits have been full of praise of Hojlund after the 21-year-old became the second-youngest player in Premier League history to score in five consecutive games after he put United 1-0 up in their 2-1 victory over Aston Villa on Sunday.
Real Madrid have reportedly asked their chief scout, Juni Calafat, to keep an eye on the Danish striker, as they keep him as an option, should they fail to sign either Mbappe or Erling Haaland this summer.
