Codina is currently behind Iker Casillas and Jerzy Dudek as No1 at the club.
“It will be difficult,” said Codina, “but I know I am going to learn a lot. I would like to play, as would any player, but it is important to be patient and to wait for the moment when they call me.
“I want to stay here for the entire season. I don’t want to leave on-loan when the market reopens. There are three competitions and anything can happen.”
