Lanzaro joins the club on a free transfer after having been released by Reggina in June.
Lanzaro has signed a one-year deal with the Spanish side.
A statement on Zaragoza’s official website reads: “Maurizio Lanzaro has today become Zaragoza’s eighth signing for the 2010-11 season.
“The Italian defender has great experience having played 127 matches in Serie A.”
“I am happy because I am going to test myself against a great league and I am pleased with this choice,” Lanzaro told Sky Sport Italia.
“I like the idea of moving abroad as I wanted to try out a new experience.”
