The recent praise is likely to end speculation’s that Modric will leave Spurs at the end of the season.
“He could play for anyone,” said Redknapp. “He’s a fantastic footballer with a great brain.
“He’s not what I expected when I came here. He’s a little guy but he’s very strong, takes tackles, gets into tackles, rides tackles.
“Alex thought Luka was fantastic. He took John O’Shea off and changed their system. Luka was causing them so many problems.
