He said: “Kanu’s been fantastic and if he keeps scoring like this he’ll end up with about 26 goals.
“That would be some performance from someone we got for nothing – if he keeps it up I’ll end up selling him for about 10 million quid.
“A lot of people have been surprised by him. In training he’s beaten three defenders and hit one into the top corner from 25 yards.
“He’s always capable of a bit of magic like that.”
