Reports suggest that Redknapp is ready to ditch keeper Heurelho Gomes and give Alnwich the chance against Blackburn on Sunday.
The 21-year-old joined Spurs for £900,000 from Sunderland two years ago, but has never played a game at White Hart Lane.
Gomes joined Spurs from PSV for £9million in June.
