Roberts has been linked with a January move away from the club, despite his two goals in the 3-1 Premier League victory against Portsmouth at Ewood Park on Saturday.
He said: “I’ll have to see. The manager has decisions to make about formations and personnel.
“I’ve been here a long time and enjoyed it. Time will tell.”
Allardyce has urged Roberts to become more aggressive in his playing style.
“That’s the manger’s opinion,” he said. “I just do what I do and I’ve been playing at this level for a long time. You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.”
