The Norwegian defender is delighted with his current boss at Roma, Claudio Ranieri.
“I like Claudio Ranieri a lot especially the way he trains us and his strategies,” said the former Liverpool man.
“He has asked me to attack a lot but it is important that I defend too.
“I am in good shape now and this is fundamental. My first season here wasn’t that good but I did well last year.
“With Adriano and Fabio Simplicio we are definitely stronger. Our squad is competitive and we look to improve each season.
“This year we have three targets and we want to do well in all competitions. Then of course doing well in Champions League is really important.
“Last year we had a really good campaign. Inter are still the best though. Rafael Benitez is a great manager and they did well to hire him.
“But we will see what happens and we will try to be ahead of them in May.”
