The 30-year-old is available on a free transfer after his contract with Celtic expired this summer.
“Roma? Yes, I’ve heard something about that,” agent Karel Jansen told Tuttomercatoweb.com.
“Personally I have never been contacted by them. Obviously it would be a very nice destination, it is a great club.
“Although the player is free of contractual obligations, and can therefore be registered after the market closes, we want to find him a club quite quickly, because he needs to play.”
